Scope of services

Legal Services by Riverview Legal Group Professional Corporation, operating as Riverview Legal Group, Licensed Paralegals (Law Society of Ontario). The firm's licensees are licensed paralegals, not lawyers. Licensed paralegals represent landlords, tenants, small-business owners and individuals at the Landlord and Tenant Board, Small Claims Court, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and Provincial Offences courts across Ontario.

A lawyer is required for matters outside that scope, including Superior Court civil claims, most family law, real estate, wills and estates, immigration, and appeals beyond the tribunals and courts where a paralegal may appear.
